Sunday School Class #1 (meets in sewing room next to the kitchen)

Our class enjoys sharing and studying the Bible.  We are currently studying the book of John.  Our teachers are Ken Detrick and Rich Yoder.  Everyone is welcome to come and join us.

Sunday School Class # 4 (meets beside the pastor’s office)

Many of us at Springs have read bits and pieces of the Bible over the years. Have you taken time to understand how the whole Bible tells the salvation story? In German this is referred to as the heilsgeschichte (salvation history). Salvation history goes from creation to our current experience. We have been using the book The Bible as Story: An Introduction to Biblical Literature. We have just finished the Old Testament and Intertestamental periods and have started in the New Testament. We anticipate finishing this book by early November.

The “Topic Class” (meets in the gym)
We study different short books about the Christian Faith.  Several members rotate in leading the discussion with everyone contributing to the class.  Sometimes, we stick closely to the book and sometimes, we head in similar directions.  In all, we learn a lot about walking with the Lord and being His followers.  Beginning in September, we will be studying the book Flee, Be Silent, Pray by Ed Cyzewski. Our teachers are, Doug Berg, Don Green, & Eric Haglund.

The “Younger Adult” Sunday School Class (meets in the basement in the larger of the separate rooms)
This class will feature discussions and conversations about important topics mentioned in the Bible.  The class encourages each person to join in the conversations.  For information, please contact the church office or John Verburg.
