Staff

Owen Guengerich, Interim Pastor
Typical office hours are M - F (9 -12 AM).

Owen was ordained at Greenwood, DE Mennonite Church where he served as Associate Pastor for seven years. At the call of Rosedale Mennonite Missions he moved to El Dorado, AR with his wife Twila and three children where he organized First Mennonite Church. For most of the 30 years living in El Dorado, he served as senior pastor. In 1996 Owen and his wife moved to Springs where they enjoy serving the Lord in Springs Mennonite Church and also in the larger Christian community.

Felicia Maust, Church Secretary

Felicia works part-time in the church office, her typical hours are as follows:
Monday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM then 1:00 to 5:00 PM (bulletin announcements are due by 9:00 AM on Friday)

Wendy Broadwater, Custodian

Wendy takes care of cleaning the church building on a regular basis.

Ryan, Greg, and Michael Miller, Grounds Crew

The Millers take care of maintaining the church grounds.

Board of Elders

According to the Plan of Organization "The Board of Elders and Pastor comprise the ministry team of the congregation, providing leadership and care to the fellowship. This team shall seek to guide the congregation in matters of doctrine, faith, and practice." The following people, along with the pastor (pictured above), serve on the Board of Elders at Springs.

Some of the responsibilities of Church Council include to "unify the activities of the congregation" and prepare a proposed budget and then oversee the budget approved by the congregation. Additional details can be found in the Plan of Organization . The following people, along with the pastor (pictured above), serve on Church Council. Their role in the congregation is also indicated.
